Oklahoma City's history is rich with Native American culture, and through various events throughout the year, Red Earth promotes the traditions of American Indian arts and cultures in and around OKC.
Red Earth Festival
Red Earth's signature summer event features Native American artists and dancers from throughout North America. Celebrate the richness and diversity of their heritage with the world on June 30 - July 2, 2022 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
Festival guests will experience the artistic creations of some of America’s most celebrated Native artists as they offer their creations for sale. Liichokoshkomo’, the Museum’s interactive outdoor venue, showcases the diversity of the West with inter-tribal native dwellings serving as a backdrop for hands-on arts and craft stations, artist demonstrations, live music and special presentations of tribal dance throughout the weekend.

Red Earth Parade & FallFest Pow Wow
The Annual Red Earth Parade has been referred to as America’s most unique parade. FallFest and the Parade are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Myriad Gardens in downtown OKC. The event will be held in conjunction with Oklahoma City's Indigenous People's Day celebrations.
Red Earth Treefest
The Red Earth Treefest will be returning this holiday season. See handmade ornaments and art objects on Christmas trees from 16 Oklahoma tribes in an exhibit showcasing the diverse Native American cultures that have shaped our state. More information coming soon!
