Oklahoma Regatta Festival

The 2022 Oklahoma Regatta Festival will take place at RIVERSPORT Rapids & Adventures Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2022. In 2020, Oklahoma City's Head of the Oklahoma Regatta was selected by U.S. Rowing as one of the nation's five largest regattas to participate in U.S. Rowing Virtual Fall, an alternative to in-person racing to keep competition flowing. The virtual race experience will recreate the experience of racing on the Oklahoma River with advanced graphics, the ability to have a coxswain steering the boat, multiple race views, officiating and live time splits.

The Oklahoma Regatta Festival returns to the Oklahoma River September 30 to October 2, 2022. The 2021 Oklahoma Regatta Festival welcomed rowers back on the water for a record breaking event and this year looks to be even larger!

OGE NightSprints will be held Friday night for RIVERSPORT Corporate Rowing and Dragon Boat League championships, with collegiate, masters and juniors racing in the OCU Head of the Oklahoma on Saturday and Sunday.

RIVERSPORT’s Youth Kayaking Race will take place Saturday, 9a to 11a, on the lower pond of the whitewater center.

PaddleFest Dragon Boat racing happens late afternoon on Saturday, then the lights come back on as we watch top athletes competing in the OGE NightSprints Saturday evening. Both evenings end with our signature fireworks. You’ll also find RIVERSPORT adventures open both Saturday and Sunday.
