Chuck Wagon Festival

For family fun, head to the annual Chuck Wagon Festival at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum each May. This fun-filled two days features chuck wagon food samples, First American food samples, butter-making, artisan demonstrations, bandanna decorating, live music, rope making with Ward Family Trick Ropers, Western re-enactors, face painting, children’s craft stations, photos with a longhorn, giant puzzles, dress up areas and more!
The Chuck Wagon Festival is the perfect opportunity to check out Liichokoshkomo’, the museum's newest outdoor interactive area, as well as Prosperity Junction and the current galleries on display.
