OKC Memorial Marathon 2023
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a signature OKC event bringing together athletes and spectators from all over the world to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the tragic events of the Oklahoma City bombing – 28 years ago this year. It is a wonderful analogy of the character of our people, the history of our trials and difficulties and the way in which we have overcome and persevered.
The inaugural race in 2001 kicked off with just shy of 5,000 participants. Fast forward 20+ years and the event has grown to host more than 25,000 runners and walkers from every state and several countries.
The mission of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is to celebrate life, reach for the future, honor the memories of those who were killed and unite the world in hope. This is not just another marathon. It is a #RuntoRemember – and a race to show that we can each make a difference and change the world.

Expo
The OKC Memorial Marathon Expo will take place at the Oklahoma City Convention Center Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29. Those participating in the Memorial 5K and Kids Marathon will need to pick up their packets at the Expo on Friday, April 28.
Merchandise
Runners in all races will receive a participant t-shirt, as well as a beautiful, hand-cast bronze finisher's medal. Additional OKC Memorial Marathon merchandise can be purchased at their online store and at the Expo.
